Nia + Leo

Nia came to me about a year ago to book me as her photographer!  She was a faithful blog follower and was passionate about photography.  She knew the value in it and placed it at the top of her must have’s for her wedding day!  I was blessed to share her and Leo’s special day.  She is kind, sweet, and generous.  Oh, and did I mention beautiful?!

I love how willing she was to do whatever to get great photos.  Before meeting up with Nia, I searched all over Patterson to find spots to take her photos.  I drove past an old brick building, that I’ve always thought was charming, but I thought by the time she was ready to take pictures the sun would be facing the front of the building. I ruled it out as an option.  When I arrived to Nia’s aunts house she was done with hair and makeup and killing time.  And she looked a little nervous not doing anything. I told her of the cute brick building, (which I come to find out is the old Patterson prison) and how it wasn’t going to work out and she blurrtted words that every wedding photographer would have wanted to hear!  She said, “then let’s go now”!!! She slipped on her dress, grabbed her flowers,  and we were on our way!  My dream bride!  Not only did we get great photos, she said it relaxed her.  I love how I can have that effect on people;)  JK

After the ceremony we snuck up to Diablo Grande Golf Course with the entire wedding party to take some pictures.  The reception was filled with family and friends that love Nia and Leo so much!  The food was great and the Mariachi band was fun.

Nia and Leo,  you are a great couple who’s love is evident in the way you interact.  Thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding!  It was beautiful day and I enjoyed being a part of it.
